Lyssa Fassett sings and plays percussion and the occasional guitar and mandolin with Snow Crow and assorted Snow Crowish incarnations. She gets her musical nourishment from folk-rock, blues-flavored rock, and especially folk music and Celtic traditional tunes. June Tabor,Dolores Keane, and Kate Wolf are a few of her vocal and song-writing inspirations. To paraphrase the bluegrass-folk-gospel band, Red Molly, "My, I do love a good murder ballad!"
